SongWake

“Not all battles are fought with blades. Some, with breath. Some, with song.”

The sea is not silent.

It whispers, it hums, and sometimes… it sings.

But tonight, its song is not yours.

Beneath the rising sun, the Sirens have awakened. Their majestuous voices twist through the fog, threading into the hearts of men — pulling them toward the edge of the deck, to the cold embrace of the abyss.

You are the bard.
You are all that stands between the living... and the lullaby of the deep.

The Music of Survival

In Songwake, every decision is a performance.
This is no idle tune — it is a test of timing, a duel of harmonies.

This is a turn-based strategy rhythm game, where every action, every step, every breath is bound to the beat.

  • 🔸 Lead your sailors, but only through melody.

Each action triggers a rhythm challenge — hit the right notes to guide them away from danger.

  • 🔸 Counter the Sirens’ song with one of your own.
You hold four powerful songs — each with unique effects. Play them in the correct order, or risk your magic falling flat.

  • 🔸 Face great threats with your own sense of rhythm.
Only you can save them from greater and greater threats.

Your songs are their last hope. Will you take on the challenge?
Then... Welcome Aboard.

I accidently open the development console lol. But I really like the music. It's so cool. ALso interesting mechanic

thanks so much!

Finished in 18 turns in easy mode. Skill issue.
It might be better if nodes are getting bigger when they are closing the key area (or they are smaller when they are spawned), for players like me.
I dropped out once, but came back later just want to succeed at least once. Not sure why I came back, maybe the graphics (I am personally attracted by the sense of adventure, maybe) ?

Damn, man, will definitely rework the difficulty. I think that there are a lot of things I wasn't able to do.
Next update, there will be lots of fixes, i promise :)

I also tried the most difficult, in the easy mode I usually get around 2900 for the main song (influence), in the most difficult I got around 2700, so yeah the difference should be more significant.

I just tried again the easy mode (playing influence), I got 3800.... one day later I improved so damn much lol...it is up to you to tune it, not sure what is the best lol

Looking at it, the songs all have the same keys. All I change is the speed at which the keys go from top to bottom (basically, making the only "difficulty" based on reaction time).
Honestly, one thing I can change is how precise you need to be to get a good score. Difficulty definitely needs more fine-tuning, so, I will make an update in a few weeks with a bunch of corrections. Thanks so much for your time and your constructive criticism!
